My Funny Valentine

So my brand new New Year Resolution to post more frequently was very short lived!  This week I have found myself going to bed before 8:30!  Any of you exhausted?????  I don't know why, but since we got back from Christmas break, I have been super tired!

Today's post has nothing to do with teaching, but I am hoping that it will make some of you laugh!

While surfing   perusing Pinterest, the funny movie Valentine's cards caught my attention.  I couldn't resist sharing them!

So with my new job I get one less week to be at home with my girls (no extra pay either!) So we made the most of this past week and played hard all week.  We spent the first part of the week at the beach with my mom and my aunt (who lives down there, score!)

To end my last week with my girls we met up with our favorite twin friends at the splash pad at our local park.  Raegan loves going to the splash pad and Kenley enjoys eating snacks while there!  It was only low 90's but it felt like 100!  They also have a train there and the girls called him "Tommy" after Thomas!  Everytime the train went around they would say "Tommy! Tommy!"  We did ride the train but no pics, sorry.

In celebration of completing my National Board, did I mention ON TIME!, (this is huge for me, as I'm a procrastinator) I went to the National Whitewater Center with some teachers for a Teacher field trip.

Here we are getting ready to zipline.  I didn't realize how scared of heights I have become as I'm getting old!!!  I was totally freaking out waiting my turn.  It was amazing and I worried for nothing.  

Did you know that Amber, from Adventures of a Third Grade Teacher and I are professional rock climbers?  Oh yea, it's because we're not!  But you can see the 'real' rockwall behind us!

Here we are getting ready to climb the ropes course, while our other friends were climbing other courses, Amber and I were suiting up to climb the baby course, easier course, don't judge!
