My Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!!!

My name may as well be Alexander today!  We have all read the book and I definitely identified with the main character today!

This week I have been presenting at my districts Common Core summer institute and this morning when I woke up I knew it was going to be a rough one.  I went in to get the girls up and they had both wet their beds.  UGH! I had to get their beds changed (in addition to the normal tasks in the same amount of time!) and I thought to myself, this is going to be a bad day.

As I got on the interstate traffic was flowing good and I was feeling better about the day.  Move ahead 10 min and the interstate turned into a parking lot!  I was sitting there watching the clock tick by and knew I was going to be late.  I decided to get off the interstate at the next exit.  I got over in the far right lane and looked to see if the exit lane was clear and it looked clear to me, but 2.3 seconds after I started over into the lane, WHAM! I tapped the car that apparently was in the lane.  Double UGH!!!!

So about an hour later I made it to my training and the day was a day.  Glad its over and glad I am in the profession that pays me so well that I can afford my little accident today ok.

Shout out to my hubs who came right away and kept me calm and then made me a delicious dinner of chicken fried steak with sawmill gravy, garlic red skinned mashed potatoes, and fried okra.  I love my southern food!

Can anyone else relate???  Share your bad day with the blog world :)

  5. And I thought I had a bad day! We had torrential downpours here, and of course it started right when I checked out at the grocery store! {I have THE worst timing} I tried to wait it out with the 20 other people standing around just inside of the doors, but after about 10 minutes it wasn't slowing down so I just went for it! I felt like Sammy the rat in Sideways Stories from Wayside School!

Sorry about your accident, but I'm sure today will be much better! =)
